Job description
Fusion Technology is seeking a degreed Civil Engineer to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team. In this role you will support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Eastern Service Area (ESA) performing civil engineering in the Chicago area at the Fort Worth.

Primary Responsibilities
Duties include the following:
- General engineering review and design for projects on and off airport grounds.
- Responsible for the design of FAA buildings, equipment shelters, communication centers, access roads
- Responsible for the review of other designs of FAA buildings, equipment shelters, communication centers, access roads
- Responsible for the construction oversight and review of FAA buildings, equipment shelters, communication centers, access roads
- Responsible for the maintenance of FAA buildings, roads, taxiways, equipment shelters and other FAA equipment locations.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering.
- 2 - 4 years of related work experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications (Would give the candidate an advantage but are not required)
- Prior FAA experience desired.
- Knowledge/Experience of Airports desired.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

- Unstaffed Infrastructure Sustainment (UIS) facility: 3 years (Preferred)
- NASET, NASEB, HVAC, HAZMAT, Power, and/or Fire Detection: 3 years (Preferred)
- Corporate Work Plan (CWP) 4.1.12: 2 years (Preferred)
- Towers, Shelters, and other similar Structures: 4 years (Preferred)
- Civil/Structural Design: 5 years (Preferred)
