Fusion Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG) is a division of Fusion Technology created in response to emerging demands on IT Integration closely related to human factors in the workplace. Operating from the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the idyllic town of Easton, Fusion ESG is a Technology Integration Contractor (TIC) that provides turnkey design, engineering, implementation, logistical, project management, and quality assurance solutions and services to mission-critical facilities worldwide.

 

Location: Full time Onsite at Registry building at MMAC in Oklahoma City. The position will allow scheduled remote workdays each week after 6 months.

Pay range: $85,000 annual salary

  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a BA degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • IMPACT: Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the work area/project team. Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments. Sets objectives for own area to meet the objectives or goals of projects and assignments. May assist other professionals with tasks and assignments.
  • COMPLEXITY: Problems are vague and require understanding of domain knowledge but are limited in complexity. Problems may span a range of issues or areas. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences, with thorough analysis of the issue.
  • COMMUNICATION: Communicates with colleagues across multiple areas (project managers, other professional resources, etc.). Explains solutions, practices, and procedures to others within the organization.
  • LEADERSHIP & TALENT MANAGEMENT: KNOWLEDGE: Requires practical knowledge of the professional discipline, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Has general understanding of industry practices and standards.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • This role is responsible for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of existing business processes and developing sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.
  • Duties include researching best business practices within and outside the organization, collecting and analyzing process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost.
  • Duties may include determining how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes.
  • You will be responsible for eliciting the business needs of the customer to help implement solutions to complex business problems.
  • You will act as the primary liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
  • You will also be responsible for requirements development and requirements management.
  • As the Sr. Business Analyst you will need to conduct interviews and requirement sessions with stakeholders in order to document business processes.
  • You will work with the project manager and scrum master to refine requirements to effective user stories and tasks in order to ensure all goals of the project are recognized and entered into a task tracking system.
  • You will work with stakeholders and project management team to conduct gap analysis to proactively identify project deficiencies.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Proficient in defining system documentation requirements based on input from technical personnel.
  • Experience in UML diagramming and design documentation.
  • Knowledge of creating and maintaining Data Flow Diagrams and developing Use Cases.
  • Experience with requirement gathering workshop facilitation.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.
  • Exposure to writing Technical White Papers and systems design documents.
  • Communication skills to present ideas and concepts effectively; strong and proven problem solving.
  • Self-managed with the ability to mentor others.
  • Strong experience with ALM to manage requirements.
  • Experience in documenting requirements through Confluence and JIRA Experience creating test plan, test cases and test execution.

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Database experience such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL and JDBC.
  • Familiarity with project management frameworks.
  • Previous experience with Aviation industry.
  • Agile certification is desired.
  • Experience with Automation testing tools is desired.
  • IIBA-AAC Certification is preferred PMI-ACP is preferred Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred
